Universal: Storm

You've probably heard of Universal before. They are known for their Animal series of products. These include Animal Pak, Animal Pump, Animal Cuts and just about any other Animal name in the weightlifting scene. What we are dealing with here is their version of a creatine. Many people are still misinformed on creatine. They think all it does is add unneeded water weight your muscles. They couldn't be any more wrong. It has 4 different variations of creatine in it which include magnesium creatine chelate, dicreatine malate, creatine monohydrate and tricreatine malate. They are combined to make one of the most powerful creatine supplements around. Not only does it come in 3 different flavors, you get 80 servings for only $28. That is almost 3 month of use under $30. This is a must have for anyone who is trying to achieve serious gains in the gym.

Optimum Nutrition: 100% Gold Standard Whey

Ahh good old protein. This is one of the most common supplements known to man. Doesn't matter if you are a roided out juice head or some 120lb twig, everyone needs a protein supplement. If you are working out you aim for 1.5-2g of protein per lb of body weight. What were dealing with here is ON's 100% Whey Protein. This has been the #1 selling supplement on bodybuilding.com for years now. They obviously have to being something right and that they are. They offer there protein in over 20 flavors. These flavors taste well whether it is mixed with milk, water, or added to some sort of other kind of drink/food. Their protein offers around 24-26 grams of protein per scoop which in return is 120-140 calories with no sugar. This stuff blends great, it will completely dissolve in as little as 4 ounces of water to a scoop. This product is a solid 10/10 that is easily affordable for everyone. If you are just starting to lift this is a must have. It is a great supplement to take whether you are trying to put on muscle or trying to shed a few pounds.

Controlled Labs: Purple Wraath

Ahh, the good old Purple Wraath. If you're like me, you like going to the gym to lift and get bigger. I mean after all the saying goes, "bigger, faster, stronger." When you start lifting and your muscles start getting the fatigue feeling, thats them filling up with lactic acid. Purple Wraath contains tons of amino acids and other performance enhancing ingredients to maximize your workout. It is advertised to increase strength, faster recovery and added energy. The first time you take this you will know right away it is working. The beta-alanine in it will give you a really light tingly feeling. I didn't mind this at all, I just shook it off and went back to work. The best part about Purple Wraath is that you are supposed to drink it WHILE you work out. To some it may seem like a chore, but it most definitely isn't when it tastes like grape kool-aid. I swear by this stuff and it is pretty cheap at $30 for 45 servings. It is also advertised to stimulate metabolism but there is no way to prove this so I can not judge that. Overall you should probably be heading to your local supplement store and picking some up.

Nutrex: Lipo6x

Well it doesn't matter who you are, everyone has a little bit of fat to get rid of. For some it might be those back dimples that look as if you have back boobs, or a stud like my self that wants to oil up his abs and walk around the beach with them. Pretty much there isn't any magical pill out there that will allow you achieve this. You also have to diet and actually work out! Surprising, I know. I first tried Lipo 6 about 4 years ago. I lost a solid 25 pounds in 4-5 months. Every morning I took it I felt like I just railed a line of coke. Shit was intense. I did not receive the same effect from Lipo6x. The pills are in form of instant and extended release. It is supposed to keep fat burning all day long but that it definitely doesn't. I still lost 11-12 pounds in 3 months but I would like to thank my diet and hard work I put in at the gym for that not Lipo6x. Overall I would spend a few more dollars and pick up something like VPX Meltdown.

Optimum Nutrition: Opti-Men

One of the most commonly used supplements used worldwide by everyone is the multi-vitamin. What we are dealing with here though is the multivitamin on steroids. It contains amino acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and just about everything to keep the body going. It includes enough of each vitamin to feed a family of ten. The daily dose is 3 horse-like pills that are big enough to choke you to death while trying to swallow them. I highly recommend these to anyone whether you lift or you don't. It doesn't take time out of your busy day to eat 3 pills that will let your body keep moving and doing what it does best; being beastly.

Gaspari Nutrition: SuperPump250

Mostly everyone has heard of this product.  Maybe you have heard of it as SuperDump250 for it's ability to make you shit for days, or know it was SuperShit250 since it doesn't seem to work for you.  Known for it's "skin tearing muscle pumps, roadmap vascularity and explosive workouts!"  To be honest with you, skin tearing muscle pumps don't sound too enthusing. But boy oh boy was I wrong.  I took this 30 minutes before workout on an empty stomach.  Let's just say the drive to the gym was one to remember.  I experienced pretty bad twitches while driving making me almost want to punch out my windshield when I came to a halt during construction, but hey I held my cool and finally made it to the gym.  Today was back and bi's and it couldn't have came on a better day.  They nailed it dead on with explosive workouts.  I pumped out so many bent-over rows followed by a few million pull-ups.  It just didn't want to end.  I would have to give this product a solid 10/10 and would recommend anyone looking for a pre-workout supplement to give this a go.
